Universal has bought the pitch for an untitled musical comedy project by Michael Mitnick, the same man who wrote the spec for The Current War, which was recently acquired by Wanted‘s Timur Bekmambetov. While the musical’s story is being kept under wraps, Mark Gordon and Jennifer Todd have signed on as the film’s producers.
