SOLD – Film Rights: Columbia and Mark Gordon Acquire Rights to YA Novel ‘Seeker’

Columbia Pictures and Mark Gordon have bought the film rights for the upcoming young adult novel “Seeker” by Arwen Elys Dayton. The book will not be published until 2015, but Columbia is high on the book’s potential to become a franchise. The story centers on a young girl who has been through years of training for what she sees as the chance to become a seeker, but instead she is being trained to become an assassin. Gordon will produce the film through his company, Mark Gordon, Co.
