Catherine Fisher’s futuristic young adult novel ‘Incarceron‘ had been in turnaround at Fox 2000 for the past three years, but Amber Entertainment has come to its rescue and purchased the rights to the novel and its 2011 sequel ‘Sapphique’. Ileen Maisel is heading up the project for Amber, as they will next look to attach a direct. The books focus on a young man who lives in a prison run by computers, but when he meets the warden’s daughter they discover a crystal key that could change everything.
