The pairing of Steve Carell and Keira Knightly is probably the last you’d expect to see. You might even say, “It’ll be the end of the world before those two form an unlikely friendship with potential sexual chemistry!” And, indeed, it is just before the end of the world that such a thing occurs. The duo stars in SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD, a dramedy about an unlikely friendship forming just before the world is slated to end. The trailer is exactly what you’d expect. Steve Carell is all doe-eyed and nebbish, Keira is Keira, and the jokes are understated but half-smile-worthy.
