Hayley Atwell joined the cast of THE RETURN OF CAPTAIN NEMO, the follow up to 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA. She’ll start opposite David Morrissey. Pearry Teo will direct the film, which is slated to begin production in early January.

BRIDESMAIDS Actress Goes WHITE TRASH
Wendi McLendon-Covey joined the cast of A WHITE TRASH CHRISTMAS. It’s the white trash version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, where three ghosts visit a drunken, trashy mom and try to get her to turn her life around. Ron Carlson will direct from a script he wrote with Terri Hauffman.

MGM Attacks KILLER PIZZA
Chris Columbus‘s 1492 Pictures has been developing Adam Green‘s comedy KILLER PIZZA, which centers on a teen who works at a pizza store that’s really a front for a monster-hunting organization, as part of its deal with CJ Entertainment. And now, MGM is in talks to acquire the project.
