Liddell Entertainment has become the latest distributor to rebel against the MPAA’s highly-criticized rating system; Deadline reports that it will be distributing William Friedkin‘s Killer Joe with an NC-17 rating. The black comedy, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Emile Hirsch, is about a young drug dealer who hires a killer to off his mother with the intention of cashing in on her life insurance policy.
