After a catching much attention for his work on The Raid, director Gareth Evans has signed on to helm Breaking the Bank, which has been acquired by Universal Pictures. The Raid, which was released earlier this year by Sony Pictures Classics, is an Indonesian action film that took the film festival scene by storm when it won the Midnight Madness award at the Toronto Film Festival.
