Jake Gyllenhaal has been set as the lead in the thriller ‘Nightcrawler’ from Dan Gilroy. Gilroy wrote and will direct the film that focuses on a driven young man who discovers the nocturnal world of L.A. freelance crime journalism. Dan’s brother, Tony Gilroy, is producing with Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Fox, Michel Litvak, and David Lancaster through Bold Films. They will be taking the films to Cannes to kick off international sales.
