Two High School Musical starlets, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, will accompany Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson from the band Big Time Rush, as well as ’Pretty Little Liars’ star Ashley Benson, in a new animated film titled ‘The Great Migration.‘
The film is the first of its kind for CMI Entertainment, which will test the waters using pre-visualization, a new type of animation, while producing the film. The story follows a group of teens who encounter a predator who threatens to destroy the balance of their environment. Hudgens and Tisdale are no rookies to starring in animated films, both having voiced characters for various Disney projects, and Hudgens for the adult cartoon, ‘Robot Chicken’. This will be the first animated flick for Schmidt and Henderson.
Production is set to begin on November 1 of this year. Michael Cammarata, Kevin G. Schmidt and Rob Minkoff will produce.
