Will Ferrell‘s spanish-language comedy CASA DE MI PADRE will hit theaters on March 16, 2012, thanks to Pantelion Films who nabbed the distributiion rights today. Ferrell stars alongside Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, and Pedro Almodovar in this comedy about a man who falls for his brother’s fiance and finds himself entangled in a war with Mexico’s greatest drug lord.
Jason Statham to Star in a Jason Statham Movie
Jason Statham is attached to star in HUMMINGBIRD, a crime thriller about an ex-Special Forces soldier who takes on another man’s identity as part of a plot for revenge. IM Global will finance the project, which Steven Knight is directing.
TEN YEAR Finds Distribution
Anchor Bay acquired distribution rights for Channing Tatum and Temple Hill’s TEN YEAR, an ensemble comedy about a high school class’s 10-year reunion. It’ll be released this spring…so you have plenty of time to get a hot girlfriend, a kick ass job, and invent the next Post-It.
