Sony Picture Classics has acquired the US distribution rights to ‘Austenland‘, which premiered at Sundance last week. The film, about a woman obsessed with ‘Pride and Prejudice’ who goes to a Jane Austen theme park to find her perfect man, is directed by ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ co-writer Jerusha Hess. ‘Twilight’ author Stephenie Meyer is a producer, and the film stars Keri Russell, Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Seymour, JJ Felid, and Bret McKenzie.
