Universal has acquired the film rights to ‘Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey Into the Afterlife’, the bestselling non-fiction book by Eben Alexander. The story follows a neurosurgeon who glimpsed into the afterlife during a near death experience. Mary Parent and Cale Boyter will produce through Disruption Entertainment. Ryan Knighton will adapt the book, and Kristin Lowe will oversee for Universal.
