SOLD – Film Rights: Legendary Pictures acquires rights to ‘Esperanza Fire’ book

Legendary Pictures will adapt ‘The Esperanza Fire’, Jon Maclean’s real-life account of the forest service engine crew that perished while battling the wildland fires in 2006 near Cabazon, CA. Alex Hedlund will oversee the project for Legendary. The book will be released this coming Tuesday.
