Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the North American rights to Charlie Paul’s documentary, ‘For No Good Reason’. The film follows the life of artist Ralph Steadman, who rose to fame illustrating Hunter S. Thompson’s books and articles. Johnny Depp, who’s a close friend of Steadman, is featured in the film. This is Paul’s directorial debut, after having spent the last decade working on this documentary.
