Sony Pictures Animation confirmed on Friday that ‘Hotel Transylvania 2‘ is a go. The first installment, ‘Hotel Transylvania,’ was a summer-hit, and grossed more than $250 million at the global box office. A director has yet to sign on to the project. The first installment centers on a group of classic monsters including Frankenstein, the Mummy, Dracula and the Werewolf who are hiding out in a hotel on the outskirts of Transylvania now that 21st century technology has seemingly made them irrelevant.
