The Blood List preemed in the industry this All Hallow’s Eve on Wednesday. Started by Kailey Marsh, a literary manager and producer at Station 3, The Blood List is a compilation of the most popular un-produced horror-genre scripts. Scripts make the cut at the discretion of industry insiders.
Marsh said the biggest advantage for the writers is “the list has gotten to a point where people’s scripts can be read by people who normally wouldn’t be exposed to them.”
She also feels that The Blood List maximizes exposure for the very narrow horror niche.
“Everyone thinks that all horror has to be hokey, gory, or cheap, and with the list I was trying to expand people’s minds to how impactful, and diverse the horror genre really is.”
