‘Mother of George‘, which recently premiered at Sundance, has been acquired by Oscilloscope Laboratories for North American distribution. The film, about a Nigerian married couple’s struggles to conceive a child, is directed by Andrew Dosunmu and stars Danai Gurira and Isaach De Bankole. Darci Picoult penned the script for the film, which was produced by Lars Knudsen, Jay Van Hoy, Matt Parker, Carly Hugo, Chris Maybach, Saemi Kim, and Tony Okungbowa.
