Willem Dafoe stars in THE HUNTER, a man vs. nature drama about a man hired to hunt the reportedly extinct Tasmanian Tiger. The trailer does its best to amp up excitement with thriller-eqsue music and tags like “Some mysteries should never be solved” but we’re unconvinced. Sure, Dafoe is great, the scenery is beautiful, and tigers of all kinds are cool. And yet, the trailer is a little too overhyped on the whole “There’s a bigger story here!” for us to get excited. Maybe a case of poor advertising? Guess we’ll have to wait until April 6th to find out.
