Philip Kerr is the latest in a slew of writers to sign on to scribe ‘The Poison Kitchen.’ The story centers on the Muenchener Post, the Munich newspaper, which wages a war for more than a decade against the burgeoning Nazi Party and its leader Adolf Hitler, who refers to the broadsheet as the ‘Munich Pest.’ After ascending to power in 1933, Nazi stormtroopers raid the paper, destroy the editorial offices and printing presses and imprison the editorial staff, shutting down the paper for good. Robert Schwentke is attached to helm the drama-thriller flick.
