To remake, or not to remake, that is the question. Buf, Inc. decided to remake when it signed on as a second production company for a modern-day reworking of Shakespeare’s classic ’Romeo / Juliet.’ Will Simmons penned the script, which follows Romeo, as an undercover DEA agent, who is working to infiltrate a Miami crime ring. The catch? Juliet’s father runs the crime operation. Tonally, the flick is said to be in the vein of ‘The Fast and the Furious.’
