Rosie Alison signed on to executive produce ’Light Between Oceans,’ the OWA based on ML Stedman‘s novel of the same name. The drama follows Tom Sherbourne, who is a lighthouse keeper on Janus Rock, a tiny island a half day’s boat journey from the coast of Western Australia. When a baby washes up in a rowboat with a dead man, he and his young wife Isabel decide to raise the child as their own. Against Tom’s judgment, they claim her as their own and name her Lucy. When she is two, Tom and Isabel return to the mainland and are reminded that there are other people in the world. Their choice has devastated one of them and she is coming looking for the child. DreamWorks Studios is partnering with the production company, Heyday Films for the project.
