‘Gone Girl,’ the thriller flick based on Gillian Flynn‘s New York Times Bestseller of the same name, is in talks with David Fincher to direct. Among Fincher‘s most recent projects are ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,’ ‘The Social Network,’ and another book-to-film adaptation, ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.’ The story centers on a husband who becomes the prime suspect of an investigation when his wife goes missing on their fifth anniversary.
