ATTACHMENT – Casting: Zoe Saldana tapped for ‘Nina Simone’

SMDH… Zoe looks nothing like Nina. Great actress but at least cast someone with more of a physical appearance ffs. Tired of Hollywood.

WTF!!????? I mean you had Jamie Foxx for Ray Charles, you had Will Smith For
Muhammad Ali, they got the closest character look alike. In Abe Lincoln,
they cast a GREEN EYED mixed chic, to play Harriet Tubman, who was
black as coal. Nina Simone is a very dark woman with strong features. In
Selena you had Jennifer Lopez! In Dorothy Dandridge you had Halle
Berry. So for Celia Cruz who are they cast Salma Hayek?? Eva Longoria,
at least when your doing a bio on a DEAD PERSON make the person look
like them!!

Do not insult Nina Simone…..Zoe is a really cool actress, but you can’t possibly let her play Nina, acting or not, it won’t work.
