Marion Cotillard is in talks to star in Benoit Jacquot’s ‘Diary of a Chambermaid’, based on Octave Mirbeau’s classic novel. The film will center on Celestine, a chambermaid working for wealthy families, and on the condition of house servants in France’s upper class society at the turn of the 20th century. Jacquot penned the script with Helene Zimmer, and Kristina Larsen and Jean-Pierre Guerin will produce the film. Production is expected to start in March 2014.
