Craig Brewer has signed on to adapt and direct Paramount’s ‘Gangster Princess of Beverly Hills’. The film is based on an article published last year on Rolling Stone written by Sabrina Rubin Erdely about Lisette Lee, a drug mule who pretended to be an heiress to the Samsung fortune, as well as an actress, singer, and model. She was caught trafficking 500 pounds of pot into Ohio, for which she received a six-year sentence. Erwin Stoff is producing the film.
