Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace are in talks to star in Daniel Espinosa‘s thriller, ‘Child 44‘, adapted from Tom Rob Smith‘s trilogy of the same name. Richard Price wrote the script, which follows a Russian secret service officer who goes on the run with his wife after being framed for treason, and discovers a string of child murders. Ridley Scott and Michael Costigan will produce through Scott Free Productions. Both Hardy and Rapace will first star in ‘Animal Rescue‘, which will begin production in March.
