Felicity Jones will play the female lead in New Regency’s ‘True Story’ to be directed by Rupert Goold. The film also stars James Franco and Jonah Hill and is based on the memoir by Michael Finkel. The story follows the relationship between Finkel and Christian Longo, an accused murderer who for years stole the journalist’s identity. David Kajganich wrote the script, and Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Brad Pitt are producing.
